John is Managing Principal of Ponderosa Capital, where he leads investment strategy, capital formation, and day-to-day operations. His background spans real estate equity, private credit, and institutional lending.

Prior to co-founding Ponderosa Capital, John closed over $500MM in transaction volume at a private mortgage REIT and worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

He is a CPA and holds an M.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Idaho.

Lew has more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience as both a broker and principal investor, completing transactions across 27 states and working with private investors, developers, and institutional clients. Prior to Ponderosa Capital, he spent 18 years with Colliers, where he was continually named to the Colliers Everest Club, recognizing the firm's top producers nationwide.

Lew is also a co-founder of Goldman | Ryden Real Estate Investment Services, one of the premier boutique commercial brokerages in the west. Goldman | Ryden's market relationships and transaction activity provide Ponderosa Capital with access to investment opportunities, market intelligence, and industry relationships throughout the region.

Matt Ryden is a Co-Founder of Ponderosa Capital and Goldman | Ryden Real Estate Investment Services. He focuses on investment real estate throughout the Northwest and Intermountain, with experience in acquisitions, dispositions, capital markets, and investment strategy across multiple asset classes.

Through Goldman | Ryden's brokerage platform, Matt has developed strong relationships with property owners, operators, developers, and investors across emerging markets throughout the Western United States. These relationships provide Ponderosa Capital with unique access to investment opportunities, including off-market transactions and opportunities that may never reach the broader marketplace. His ability to source, evaluate, and structure investments is a key component of the firm's acquisition strategy.

As a founding member of Ponderosa Capital, Matt is focused on identifying opportunities in high-growth markets and creating long-term value through disciplined investment decisions, strategic partnerships, and a hands-on approach to every investment. Known for his work ethic and market knowledge, Matt plays an integral role in the continued growth Ponderosa Capital.

Scott brings 30+ years of commercial real estate experience spanning ground-up development, project management, marketing, property management, investment sales, and brokerage. A Partner at Colliers International Idaho, he holds an MBA from Boise State and a CCIM designation since 1998. He has participated in 2MM+ SF of retail, office, and industrial development.
